(exclusive of what the deceased may have been possessed of or entitled to as a Trustee for any other Person, or Persons, and not beneficially, but including the Leasehold Estates for Years of the deceased, whether absolute or determinable on Lives, and without deducting any thing on account of the Debts due and owing from the deceased) are under the value of Four Hundred and Fifty Pounds

This is the last Will and Testament of me Charles Saunders of Wadebridge in the Parish of Saint Breock in the County of Cornwall Carpenter and Joiner, Whereby I commend my Soul to God and dispose of my worldly estate and effects in the manner following, that is to say, First I direct that all my just debts funeral expenses and the charges in proving this my Will be fully paid and satisfied by my Executrix herein after named out of the first …… that shall come to her hands after my decease, I give and bequeath to my Wife Mary Ann Pascoe Saunders all that my Leaseholds, Messagues Tenament or Dwelling Houses with the gardens and appurtenances therewith belonging , situate in Wadebridge aforesaid, the one in my own occupation and the other in the occupation of James Reynolds, Watchmaker as Tenant and which I hold under the Lord of the Manor of Pawton. To hold to her Executor Administration and assigns for and during all of the rest residue and Remainder of my Term and Estate therein to and for her own Sole and Separate use benefit and disposal to or for no other use intent or purpose whatever, Also I Give and Bequeath unto my Wife Mary Ann Pascoe Saunders all that Messuage Tenament or Dwelling House with the Courtlage garden and Appurtenances situate in Wadebridge aforesaid and now in the occupation of Richard Pross, Excise Officer, and which I hold under the Lord of the Manor of Pawton – To hold during the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Term and Estate therein, Except as hereafter shall be Excepted to and for his own separate use and benefit during the Remainder of her life – Also I give and bequeath unto my Wife Mary Ann Pascoe Saunders all that Leasehold Messuage Tenament or Dwelling House with the Courtlage Garden Warehouses and Appurtenances thereunto belonging situate in Wadebridge aforesaid and now in the occupation of Richard Hoskin, Butcher and which I hold of the Lord of the Manor of Pawton aforesaid, to hold and during the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Term or Estate therein, Except as hereafter shall be Excepted , to and for her own sole and separate use and benefit during the Remainder of her life, Also I give and bequeath to my Wife Mary Ann Pascoe Saunders My Work Shop or Warerooms the one part in my own possession and a part thereof in the possession of Gregory Brabyn as Tenant and which I hold under the Lord of the Manor of Pawton aforesaid to hold for and during the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Term or Estate therein, Except as hereafter shall be Excepted, to and for her own sole and separate use and benefit during the Remainder of her life, Also I give unto my Wife Mary Ann Pascoe Saunders all the Rest and Residue of my Household Goods, Furniture, Money or Moneys, Watch, plate and plated goods, Except or shall hereafter be Excepted, as may remain at the time of my decease, Also I give unto my Wife Mary Ann Pascoe Saunders all I am ………. In Books Book Debts or in what other nature kind or quality soever being subject to the payment of my first Debts Funeral Expenses and charges in proving This my Will, to have and to hold to and for her own sole and separate use, Except as shall hereafter be Excepted, And Whereas and herein mentioned or respect to certain exceptions to the Intent or purpose of giving and bequeathing a certain part or parts of my estate or property to persons hereafter mentioned, I do Hereby Dispose of a part or Parts of my Estate or Property in manner as follows, that is to say, To my Brother William Saunders all my Working tools and Wearing Apparel after my decease, and the aforesaid Wm Saunders to receive it after Three Calender Months after my decease, Also I bequeath to my Sister Mary Bennett three pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid three months after my decease, Also I Give and Bequeath the aforesaid Mary Bennett after the decease of my Wife Mary Ann Pascoe Saunders if the life should be there living the House and Appurtenances thereunto belonging to have and to hold all the Rest Residue or term of my Estate therein and for her own sole and sue and benefit during the life that I now hold it on, Also I bequeath to my Brother the aforesaid William Saunders after the decease of my Wife Mary Ann Pascoe Saunders the Dwelling house and appurtenances now in the occupation of Richard Hoskin aforesaid to have and to hold all the Rest Residue or term of my Estate therein and for his own sole use and benefit during the life that I now hold it on, Whereas I direct and appoint my Wife Mary Ann Pascoe Saunders Sole Executrix of my Will, And I do revoke all former Wills and I do Declare this to be my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I the said Charles Saunders have hereunto set my hand and seal this 31 Day of January 1828 In the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Eight.
