Martha May Saunders, the youngest child of Frank and Julia (Horton) Saunders, married Charles Austin. Wedding date unknown.

Charles, born about 1871, was the son of Sidney and Harriet Austin and was one of six children - Ella (1864); Glen (1866); Adelbert (1869); Georgeanna (1874) and Lewis (1880).

In 1892 Sidney, shown as a Millwright, his wife, Glen, a Carpenter, Charles, Georgeanna and Lewis were living in Parma. At this time Martha's father, Frank Saunders, was also a Millwright living in Parma.

Charles is believed to have died very shortly after their marriage.

Martha appears to have been a Notary Public and her name and signature appears as such on a ‘Declaration for Widow’s Pension’ form when her mother applied for a pension after the death of her husband, Frank, on the 19th February, 1929.

Martha returned to the family home, an old farmhouse in Parma Corners. She died in 1969 as recorded in this newspaper announcement;
